PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE LIBERTY COUNTY VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD
ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Liberty County Value Adjustment Board (VAB) will hold its annual Organizational Meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. (ET) in the VFW Room of the Liberty County Civic Center, 10818 NW State Road 20, Bristol, Florida.
The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the organizational business of the Value Adjustment Board, including, but not limited to:
Appointment of the Value Adjustment Board Attorney;
Election of the Chair and Vice Chair;
Confirmation of the public contact information for the Board;
Announcement of the availability of the Florida Department of Revenue’s Value Adjustment Board Uniform Rules of Procedure;
Adoption of the Board’s procedures and hearing schedule; and
Any other organizational business that may properly come before the Board.
The meeting is open to the public.
Pursuant to section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons needing a special accommodation or an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this meeting should contact the Liberty County Clerk of Court at least five (5) business days prior to the meeting.
