PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
LIBERTY COUNTY VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD
FINAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Liberty County Value Adjustment Board (VAB) will hold its Final Meeting on Thursday, November 16th, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. (ET) in the VFW Room of the Liberty County Civic Center, 10818 NW State Road 20, Bristol, Florida.
The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the final business of the Value Adjustment Board for the 2026 tax year, including, but not limited to:
- Report from the Liberty County Property Appraiser regarding the 2026 tax year;
- Consideration and approval of Department of Revenue Form DR-488 for tangible personal property;
- Consideration and approval of Department of Revenue Form DR-488 for real property;
- Consideration and approval of Department of Revenue Form DR-529, Notice of Tax Impact of Value Adjustment Board, including submission to the Florida Department of Revenue and publication;
- Discussion of the 2027 Organizational Meeting; and
- Any other business that may properly come before the Board.
The meeting is open to the public.
Pursuant to section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons needing a special accommodation or an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this meeting should contact the Liberty County Clerk of Court at least five (5) business days prior to the meeting.
